Nintendo of Europe and Square Enix recently announced that Octopath Traveler had achieved a significant milestone. The game has sold over two million copies across the globe.
The game previously reached the one million copies milestone in August 2018. To celebrate the news, the game is on sale for 50% off for a limited time until April 2.

Octopath Traveler lets players choose from eight different characters, who each have a unique story plus side quests. There are also eight different regions of the world of Orsterra to explore and enjoy to understand each character’s story. Side quests and stories also have important decisions to make that will impact the game in different ways.
The gameplay has turn-based combat, with each character having a range of skills and talents to use in battle. Players will have to utilize each character’s abilities in battle to come out victorious.
Fans of older JRPGs may find the graphics appealing. The visuals are inspired by retro 2D RPGs, with some modern features like realistic elements in the 3D world.
Octopath Traveler is now available on Steam without DRM software, which should remove any technical issues associated with the game.
Octopath Traveler was created by the producers of Bravely Default, which was released in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS. The sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer, was released worldwide in 2016, and the third title, Bravely Default II, will be released on the Nintendo Switch is scheduled to release sometime this year.
For those interested in playing Octopath Traveler, a free demo is available now on the Nintendo Switch. The demo features the first chapter of all eight traveler’s journeys throughout Orterra. Any save data from the demo can be transferred into the full version of the game.
