Even though it debuted more than five years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still a tremendously popular video game. The vast, stuffed-full-of-things-to-do and-discover setting of the Switch game, combined with its powerful physics engine, entices players back to the realm of Hyrule.

Unfortunately, even though The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild successfully transitioned the venerable Nintendo property into an open-world setting, there are some technical issues with the game, as one player who encountered a Lizalfos discovered.

Lizalfos, who made their first significant appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, are quick-moving foes who often strike by rushing towards Link while brandishing a weapon before rapidly jumping away.

Lizalfos are one of the most obnoxious foes in The Legend of Zelda series. They can blend in with their environment and typically possess fire, ice, or electrical skills. When they show up in Breath of the Wild, this makes it much more annoying.

The Breath of the Wild glitch appears to have granted Lizalfos enhanced jumping abilities. The player can be seen fighting a Fire-Breath Lizalfos and an Igneo Pebblit in footage that _Tovar_ posted to the Breath of the Wild subreddit.

The scene appears to be taking place somewhere in the Eldin region. After dispatching the Lizalfos, the player moves toward the adversaries. The Lizalfos starts fast, moving toward Link before abruptly stopping and returning to its starting place. As the Lizalfos continue to approach, Link maintains his position, forcing them to repeatedly jump back.

The enemies in Breath of the Wild 2 can build on those in the original game, with the third installment ready to step it up regarding adversary variety and dynamics. On Switch and Wii U, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is accessible.
