One more character was announced to return: Nugget the Chicken. Nugget the Chicken made its first appearance in Yakuza 0. Kiryu wins the chicken in a bowling tournament, choosing to leave it alive rather than frying it in the bowling alley's kitchen. He quickly learns his new friend is skilled in real estate development. Nugget's stats list it as a Manager with three "Financial Savvy" stars, economic influence, and pays 300,000 yen. It stars a new protagonist in a new location for the first time.
