Xbox Twitter had a cloud gaming conversation telling folks that hopefully their next favorite game is discovered and ready to be at the fingertips in a matter of seconds. Sounds awesome, don’t they? But that is when the replies come in: players venting out frustrations, making demands, and showering praise for the service-mostly frustrations.

Good things come first: Xbox Cloud Gaming (commonly called xCloud), allows you to stream and play the game on your console, phone, or PC. No downloads, no installs: just hit the Play button and play. Several gamers seem to be wholeheartedly for it, with joy calls it a “game-changer,” while “next-level convenience” comes bursting right out of the keyboard of one of his peers, @JoyWood77121. @Drum2dbeatz is consequently contributing more into the Xbox ecosystem because of it, offering tremendous praise for backward compatibility and the play-anywhere flexibility.

But then… complaints began pouring in.

@Casualgamer1233 said cloud gaming is nearly worthless except for Fortnite unless you fork out $240 a year for the Game Pass Ultimate. And that’s while pleading with Xbox to make all the free-to-play titles available without the subscription charge. @TromboneHoosier, on the other end of the spectrum, just outright screamed in fury: losing 50 items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance due to a bug; he called out Xbox Support for refusing to fix it while saying ‘user issue.’

Speaking of Xbox Support… yikes. @Urielfaes just rates ‘0/10’ and never answered. @ErroRMACro_MK has suffered through issues plaguing the Xbox app on PC, hobbling that mad enjoyment of the Gears of War beta. Meanwhile, @hipmrblank is complaining that Twitch streams through the Xbox app do not allow viewers to hear their teammates, something the PS5 somehow does brilliantly.

Following that, regional snarls. The gamers from South Africa (@Jazziro17), Turkey (@BenKahtaliMici), Colombia (@bryantabares), and Brazil (@rudrigosena) are on the verge of shouting out for the same thing: When will cloud gaming come for them? @LzzNico even gave a slap to NVIDIA GeForce NOW, which is in Chile, but Xbox Cloud Gaming is not.

Some gamers are shouting out demands, not complaints: @rudrigosena wants more AAA titles available for streaming for the “stream your own game” program, 4K resolution, and more servers in Brazil. @warzoneandchill begs to support Apple Vision (whatever that is). And @DonaldClar41548 simply wants to know how to change their gamertag-something simple yet we’ve all been there before.

Then there’s @dedprzcom ripping this thing into some sort of crypto casino promotion? Wild.

Yeah, Xbox Cloud Gaming is cool, in theory-instant play, no downloads, and such-but the players are clearly having their say that it needs work. Better support, more regions, fewer bugs, and maybe just a little less reliance on Game Pass Ultimate. Will Xbox listen to them? Only time will tell.

For now, at least, try it if you’re in a supported region and have Game Pass Ultimate. And if you’re not…well, keep an eye on those patch notes.
