The new deserts are Fatui Agent’s deadliest adversary, as demonstrated in a recent post on the official Genshin Impact subreddit. Every new update focuses primarily on expanding the game’s maps and adding new playable characters.

The first desert areas were included in patch 3.1 for Genshin Impact and rapidly became a fan favorite. In addition, friendly and hostile character footprints can be left on the new terrain type, adding an extra layer of realism.

A user named Onepiece285 posted a video to Reddit demonstrating a helpful strategy for taking on the Fatui Agent in the updated Sumeru wasteland. This Elite foe in Genshin Impact may transform into the background and strike without warning.

However, their silhouette may become visible if they are exposed to particular environmental conditions or traverse a specific terrain. Players battling the Fatui Agent in the new Sumeru deserts may simply follow his footsteps during the invisibility phase, as demonstrated in the video. Over 5,000 people voted up the video, with many commenting that they will employ the strategy the next time they face this foe.

Achieving the Wonders of the World achievement “…Till Debt Do Us Part” requires taking out the Fatui Agent when he is in stealth mode. A few commenters on mobile devices have mentioned that they cannot apply this approach since the sand does not leave footprints in their version of Genshin Impact.

The new Dendro nation is generally agreed upon as the best addition to the game thus far, as it substantially improved the exploration aspect of the game. The original Sumeru patch added a new jungle biome and the first playable Dendro characters. In addition, the first dessert in Teyvat has been added in the latest version of Genshin Impact, teeming with temples and kingdoms that play pivotal roles in the tale.

Scaramouche, one of the Fatui Harbingers, may become available with the same patch.
