The seventh week of LCS started with some tragic circumstances.

With the entire world starting to suffer from the coronavirus it was unclear if LCS will continue going forward.

Immortals vs Tem Liquid

Renekton / Gragas / Qiyana / Aphelios / Tahm Kench vs Zac / Olaf / Zoe / Miss Fortune / Nautilus

Team Liquid looks absolutely depressing. It feels like they don’t put any effort into their games or training. They seem to just give up and lose. Xmithie feels like he took a great decision by leaving the Team Liquid squad. While IMT might not have the better players, they seem to have better motivation which secures them wins.

After Team Liquid secured the first Dragon, Immortals stepped up and secured two Rift Heralds and the next two dragons in a row. They were able to use it to their advantage and get easy gold from tower plates. With the tower plates gold, they were able to snowball their ADC on Aphelios, who is an insanely strong champion.

In team fights, they protected him and allowed him to do as much damage as he wanted. He ended the game with  8 kills and no deaths.

Cloud 9 vs Golden Guardians

Sett / Pantheon / Taliyah / Syndra / Pyke vs Aatrox / Sejuani / Zoe / Aphelios / Nautilus

Cloud 9 came strong after the defeat on Saturday against TSM. They took their support player off-tank duty and put him on snowballing support, Pyke.

Cloud 9 absolutely crushed their opponents, securing 4 dragons, 2  rift heralds, 2 Barons, and 11 towers, while their opponent secured no objectives outside of two outer tier towers. The boys in blue massacred the Golden Guardians, Everyone played up to their maximum form. The loss against TSM made them only stronger going forward.

Vulcan looked amazing on the Pyke support and Cloud 9 should focus on putting him more on this pick, with whom he snowballed out of his mind and extended their team’s advantage. While he plays remarkable tank supports, he displays formidable skill on other types as well.

Cloud 9 is locked in for first and secured a playoff spot and should focus on practicing as many picks as possible going into them. Golden Guardians, on the other hand, need to get their stuff together if they want to be able to go to playoffs in this split. If not, then they need to rethink their strategies and possibly some members on the starting roster.

That is all for  Week 7, Monday Night League of LCS 2020, stay tuned for more in the upcoming days.
