Broccoli has announced the official release date for their Nintendo Switch port of Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade Love, which is two games in one. The title was initially released on the PlayStation Vita in 2017, but will now be available on the switch. Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade Love takes place one year after entering the special school, Saotome Garden. The heroine overcame all odds, helped her partner in their quest to become an idol, and graduate. The school president now wants the heroine to create a new song. The new story will detail new adventures for the heroine and one of the love interests. Players can either load their data from a previous game or romance one of the new characters. Broccoli stated that the Switch port would have the features of the PS Vita edition. It's unlikely that the port will contain any new content since the game's initial release two years ago. There is even less of a chance for any new DLC. The port serves as a new way for fans of the series to take their favorite series on-the-go with a new handheld console. The only additional bonuses are limited edition products available only in Japan. They include merchandise featuring characters from the game like A4 clear file folders, badges, drama CDs, and more. There are bonuses exclusive to different retailers. Uta no Prince-sama is a popular series in Japan. The series began as a visual novel but has expanded into an anime adaptation, stage concerts, mobile rhythm games, drama CDs, and more.
