Broccoli’s Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade LOVE is preparing for release in Japan. The developer is bringing the previously released Uta no Prince-sama games onto the Nintendo Switch years after their PSP release.

Broccoli recently published multiple videos showcasing the game on the Nintendo Switch. The videos are an introduction to the characters players will meet.

The Uta no Prince-sama is a visual novel series marketed toward women. In the series, players can choose a “Prince” to romance. There are also other challenging elements, such as being successful in music school.

Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade LOVE are part of the music-based Uta no Prince-sama series. The players control the heroine Nanami Haruka as she helps aspiring students become idols.

Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade LOVE are two separate titles that are being bundled together.

Amazing Aria was released on the PSP in 2010. In the game, Haruka has already chosen her partner to help bring her music to life. As a couple, the team has to work together but also deal with normal couple issues. The game also introduced new romanceable characters, but players can also load their save data to further bond with their Prince.

Featured routes in this game include Cecil Aijima, Otoya Ittoki, Masato Hijirikawa, Mitsuo Saotome, and Natsuki Shinomiya.

The game is followed by Sweet Serenade, which was released one year after Amazing Aria in 2011. The game is similar to Amazing Aria, but there is a new class of characters from Class S to romance.

The game focuses on routes for Ryuya Hyuga, Tokiya Ichinose, Ren Jinguji, Syo Kurusu, and Ringo Tsukimiya.

Currently, Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade LOVE are only scheduled for release in Japan. There is no planned English localization for the game.

Uta no Prince-sama continues to be widely popular in Japan and worldwide. The visual novel games have been adapted into an anime series, hologram concert, and concerts featuring the voice actors. Currently, one of the few titles in English is the mobile game Uta no Prince-sama: Shining Live. This free mobile game has short stories but no romance element. Players simply play a tap-based music game featuring songs from the series.

Uta no Prince-sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade LOVE launches in Japan on May 28, 2020.
