Recently, all filming for the Uncharted movie was completed, and while most of the movie's main cast has been revealed, some of their roles, including the lead villain, haven't been revealed. And if you haven’t played the games, you’re going to enjoy the film because it’s information that everyone else is getting at the same time. But I’m super excited to make that movie and it’s been a long time coming.” While the movie was being filmed, Nolan North, who is the voice actor behind Nathan Drake, visited the movie's set and had nothing but positive things to say about the movie and Tom Holland following his visit, telling The Gamer that he thinks Holland will be "really good" as the series' lead protagonist. “Well, Tom doesn’t need any mentoring,” said North. “I got the chance to talk to him and his brother, Harry, and both of them are huge fans of Uncharted. When you find that out, and when you get to meet Tom in person, he’s gonna do it justice. He’s going to do very, very well. He’s very athletic, he’s a talented dancer, and a very physically gifted performer.” As previously mentioned, filming for Sony's Uncharted movie finished back in November, and as of right now, it's scheduled to be released in theaters in July of next year.
