Another version of The Witcher 3 Redux mod has just been released, which comes packed with more exciting features and gameplay tweaks.

In version 2.1, there are imports of new icons for Black Gull, White Gull, Black Powder, and Dragon Blood, along with more AHI improvements

Overview: This mod can be seen as a “light” gameplay overhaul as it doesn’t fundamentally change the gameplay mechanics, but still makes enough significant changes to be considered more than just gameplay enhancements.

The purpose of this is to make the gameplay feel more realistic and lore-friendly where prepping stands out.

• New icons for White Gull, Black Gull, Dragon Blood, and Black Powder to better differentiate them. Big thank you to FrangoestoOz for designing the new icons since I have the artistic abilities of a lamp.
• AHI Tweak – Enemies affected by specific critical effects (e.g., burning, knockdown, stagger, stun) will not have AHI buffs applied during the critical effect duration.
• Hitting a flying monster mid-flight with the damage-dealing bomb will do +50% damage and will prevent them from flying again (excludes Sirens as their flying mechanics bug out and Dettlaff because he’s Dettlaff)
Other fixes and gameplay tweaks available in The Witcher 3 Redux 2.1 are as follows:
• Lowered the circumference in which cluster bombs explode to lower the randomness of their spread.
• Fixed issue with alchemy skill “Efficiency” not increasing ammo count by the correct amount.
• The general skill “Heavy Artillery” can no longer halve the number of utility bombs, especially if the “Pyrotechnics” skill got equipped.
• Fatigue now rises exponentially instead of linearly. The more fatigued you get in a specific combat scenario, the worse it gets.
• Geralt can no longer get fatigued when outside of combat.
• Lowered Adrenaline Drain Reduction from Combat Skill “Resolve” from 100% to 50%. 100% was too practical for a tier 1 skill.
• Consumable drinks now increase stamina regeneration instead of vitality. Thanks again to FrangoestoOz for going through all the drink buffs and modifying them.
• Quen now updated with the “core ability” tooltip description to mention that Geralt will become fatigued with overuse.

Furthermore, shortly after the release of 2.1, the Witcher 3 Redux 2.2 dropped, fixing a bug that was introduced previously in 2.1 with an additional gameplay tweak.

• Bugs now fixed with the “Melt Armor” skill causing Geralt’s toxicity to rise when used. This was debugged code from when I was reworking the ability that I forgot to take out. Whoops.
• Lowered combat skill “Rend” critical hit chance from 50% to 25%

N.B.: The new mod would only work with a fresh new game. It will not work with the latest game plus or existing saves!!

The Witcher 3 is currently available on Xbox One, PC., Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 globally. Also, the Witcher 3 Redux can be downloaded from Nexus Mods.
