One of the most anticipated additions has been The Witcher 3 from CD Projekt Red. It was just released on the platform today, and if you enjoy in-depth RPGs filled with rich content, then this is the game for you. It’s a sequel to The Witcher 2. It follows along Geralt of Rivia, who’s tasked with tracking down the Child of Prophecy — a weapon of utmost importance to the world.

Along your journey, you’ll get to interact with so many NPCs that have complete backstories.  The amount of detail that went into them — along with this game’s open-ended environments — is downright impressive. There are endless side-missions to go on when you’re not completing quests for the main story. In this way, you always want to keep coming back to The Witcher 3.

To make the story even more interesting, CD Projekt has developed different branching points that change based on the decisions you make and the quests you complete. Because of the different endings, everything seems to matter more. Also, when you get done with the main story, you want to go back in and do things differently to see what changes.

If the story doesn’t win you over, the combat will. Geralt is a superior warrior with a bevy of weapons he can use at his disposal. For example, he has steel swords that are intended for human enemies. Then, for monsters, he can fight wielding silver swords. There are plenty of secondary weapons as well.

Finding these weapons isn’t that difficult as they’ve been scattered all throughout the map. You even have plenty of ways to customize them to your liking, so that you’re fully prepared for any threat that gets in your way of finding the Child of Prophecy.

The subscription isn’t that much and you’ll make up these costs ten times over with the amount of content packed in The Witcher 3. There’s a reason why so many consider this the game of the decade. It checks off all of the boxes.
