Netmarble and WWE have announced their official collaboration between The King of Fighters All Star and the wrestling promo. Not only can players collect and permanently add some of the most popular wrestlers to their rosters, but play new WWE-themed mini-games.

The new content is only available until early June. Players can permanently add their winnings to their collection, but it’s unknown if another collaboration is planned for the future.

In the collaboration, players can summon Kofi Kingston, Becky Lynch, The Undertaker, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and The Rock. Each of these wrestling Superstars’ appearance, mannerisms, and move sets have been recreated in the game.

Also included are special Battle Cards featuring each wrestler’s signature moves. A theatrical trailer was launched, showcasing the wrestlers in a ring fighting against some of The King of Fighters roster.

Besides adding WWE Superstars, there are several WWE-themed events, dungeons, and other activities to take part in.

In Time Attack Mode, players can use the mode with the WWE characters. In the WWE-Themed Summon Banner, players can obtain wrestlers in two new Banners, and in a new Super Mission, players can obtain The Rock in a new mission. Through a new Roulette Event, players get the chance to collect John Cena.

Players can fight through the Rush Event Dungeon and gather the necessary rewards to obtain Kofi Kingston. There are even more awards to collect through the Mini Dungeon.

Netmarble has been teasing the collaboration on their official website and on social media. The company posted a few clips and other images slowly revealing the roster until the collaboration was unveiled.

Regarding the collaboration, Brian Flinn, WWE Chief Marketing & Communications Officer stated:

Integrating WWE Superstars into The King of Fighters All Star franchise will provide our fans with another opportunity to connect with their favorite Superstars and introduce new audiences to our action-packed entertainment.

The King of Fighters All Star is a fighting game where players battle through waves of enemies and rivals. The game uses characters from the series, from 1994 to XIV. There are over 130 fighters to collect, with more being added through collaborations and other special events. Other series that collaborated with The King of Fighters All Star include Tekken 7 and Samurai Shodown.

The King of Fighters All Star is available now on the App Store and Play Store in over 175 countries. The WWE collaboration lasts until June 4.
