The Elder Scrolls Online has announced its next event celebrating the Undaunted. The Undaunted is a crew of adventure-lovers, and also a brand new addition to the MMORPG. The Undaunted thrive on entering monster-filled crypts and returning to tell the tale. This special event will have gamers clearing out Tamriel's dungeons for rewards and glory. Gamers have to travel to a dungeon with a group of four or using the Dungeon Finder tool to participate in the event. They must then clear the dungeon in either Normal or Veteran difficulty. The group finding tool has long been a source of frustration for gamers. Many new to the game complain that they get paired up with unreliable players. Others are unhappy with the long wait to find a group. This event is not meant to be completed solo, even though the game is open to both solo and group players. Since the event was dependent on group play, it had to be canceled. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the event soon after launch. The announcement was made on the official website: "Shortly after the launch of Undaunted Event, we began to see server issues related to the Activity Finder that was affecting your ability to play the game. Our top priority is making sure you can log in and play, so to that end, we have decided to turn off the Undaunted Event. Please keep an eye out for an announcement regarding the Undaunted Event in the near future. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding." This isn't the first time that the group finder has broken during an event. During the Undaunted event last year, the event had to be postponed until the tool was fixed. ESO has promised to resolve the issues around the group finding tool, but every event that requires it has problems. The issues may also be related to the last ESO game update. Many players have taken to social media to share their concerns with the activity finder in both Battlegrounds and Dungeons. It's unknown when these issues will be resolved.
