A new game is bringing the excitement and wonder of dating into VR. Table Manners is a new physics-based dating simulator that puts you in the seat of a fancy restaurant with a date of your choosing. Control your disembodied hand as you float around the table, trying not to make a mess of your date.

This game takes you through the whole process. Chat them up, learn about them, and eventually take them on a date to a very fancy restaurant. This is your chance as you do not get a second chance at a first impression. Make it the perfect evening while fighting against the crazy physic engine built into the game.

There is a restaurant for every food, and all of them present unique challenges to overcome. Wine and dine in fast-paced sushi restaurants and rocking boats as you deal with tons of challenges. Reach for the stars in a chance to dine in a zero-gravity restaurant dealing with all the problems as they float around your dinner date.

There is tons of in-depth customize for your hand. You do not have a body in this game, you are a floating disembodied hand, but that won’t stop you from mingling. Customize yourself with an assortment of nails, accessories, and tattoos to make you the most stylish hand in the dating world.

There is a semi-realistic dating app. In Table Manners, you can chat, joke, flirt, and chat away with your dinner date before meeting them. If you treat them right, you will earn the date and move on to the second challenge of this game. Keep in mind you will get matches in this, and remember that the matches are soulless computer AIs.

This game falls into a genre of chaotic physics-based experiences. Like Surgeon Simulator, things can quickly get out of hand as things fall over and catch fire. You not only have to keep your table together but also maintain your date’s happiness.

It looks like a great time, and the trailer makes many fans even more excited. From the disgruntled look on your date’s face to shoving food at them to try and make them eat, this game feels therapeutic for those who have had horrible dates.

Table Manners will be released during the first quarter of 2020. There is no need to get it right the first time, just make sure to bring you table manners to this chaotic date night.
