Super Mario Maker 2 is one of the best games in terms of continuous content. After a player creates a level, they can upload it to the community. Thus, everyone gets to enjoy user-created content day in and day out. This concept has helped Super Mario Maker 2 go on to achieve a lot of commercial success. Nintendo Entertainment has a lot to be proud of.

Just recently, Link was added to the mix. He has some noticeable differences from Mario, such as his Master Sword and Hylian shield. They give players a unique way to take down enemies that they come across while completing each level.

Ever since Link was added to this unique platformer, course makers have began creating difficult levels with this character in mind. If you don’t already know, there are some pretty insane courses in Super Mario Maker 2. Some will have you trying for hours and even then there are no guarantees of completing the levels.

Well, these Link-styled levels are even more difficult if you can believe that. Where the added complexity comes into play is the timing. Link, who has the ability to shoot arrows, has to time his shots perfectly because there is a bit of a delay. Whereas with Mario, when he throws some fireballs, they pretty much land on enemies instantly.

Needless to say, it will take quite some time getting used to. Expect to die and die. After repeated failures, though, you should be able to get the rhythm and timing down. Nailing an enemy across the stage with a perfectly timed bow shot is very gratifying. Though, it should be mentioned that these levels are mostly reserved for the advanced platformer. It doesn’t hurt to try, though.

Overall, these new courses are getting the community buzzing. Link was already a great addition and these levels certainly give you plenty of opportunities to put your new Link skills and abilities to the test.

For those who’re a little more casual in their approach to playing Super Mario Maker 2, there are plenty of community-created courses that are more forgiving. That’s probably the best way to get ready for the more advanced platforming action.
