If you own a Nintendo Switch, you know how rare it is for first-party games to go on sale. These games are highly sought after, especially for those who are just now getting the new system. Every once in a blue moon, though, certain games get a highly anticipated price drop.

This just happened with some major titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 2. Instead of having to pay their full sticker price tag of $60, you can now get them at Walmart for an incredible $45. That’s $15 in savings that Walmart is being so gracious enough to offer.

These games are must-own titles for any gamer, let alone Nintendo Switch owner. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is quite possibly one of the best RPGs to come out in some time. The graphics are beautiful and playing with Link is still just as fun as ever. Finally, a high-quality Zelda game can be played in a portable fashion. The story is also pretty intriguing.

Link starts off waking up from a deep sleep, where he soon encounters the spirit of the deceased King of Hyrule. Link discovers that an evil entity, Calamity Ganon, has taken over the land. He sets out to defeat him in epic fashion. There are many fun enemies to beat along the way. You’ll be hooked the minute you pick up the controls.

If you’re a fan of the Super Mario series, you have to explore the amazing world of Super Mario Odyssey. It released for the Nintendo Switch at launch, and thankfully, it lived up to the hype. The levels are so captivating, and playing with Mario has never been more fun quite honestly.

There are plenty of new controls and maneuvers to master, as well as interesting bosses to fight. Its sandbox style of play makes for hours of fun. Some of the levels even go back to 2-D planes, which lets you take a trip down memory lane to retro gaming.

Finally, Splatoon 2 is a third-person shooter featuring ink-based shooting mechanics. They’re just as good as they were in the original. More levels and weapons have been added to keep things fresh. Its single-player story and multiplayer mode are amazing.
