A fan of Red Dead Redemption 2 created a mock-up of a trailer for a potential sequel to the add-on game mode Undead Nightmare. Red Dead Redemption was first made available to the public in 2010 and immediately became an enormous success. It was yet another demonstration that Rockstar is not solely defined by Grand Theft Auto and can produce other works, particularly those including tales and characters with a greater level of maturity.

Despite this, Rockstar still managed to find some humor in the situation. The game’s developer had launched a premium expansion with an all-new scenario based around a zombie apocalypse just in time for Halloween that year. It’s a lot of fun when all the characters, including John Marston and the others, struggle to stay alive despite being surrounded by the undead. It is considered to be one of the best things the developer has ever created, and it is also one of the very last story-driven downloadable content packs that Rockstar has ever produced.

Red Dead Redemption 2 players have been pleading with Rockstar for years to release another Undead Nightmare expansion pack, but it appears that this will never be the case. So a fan, being a fan, thought it only natural to speculate on what that might have resembled in its possible form.

A user named Devilbringer07 on Reddit put together a fan-produced rendition of a new Undead Nightmare. In this version, Arthur Morgan appears to be coming back from the grave, maybe to get revenge on Dutch and the other gang members. Even though it has several flaws, it provides an entertaining look at what might have been. Or, if you’re a true believer, it’s a cruel reminder of what was promised but never delivered!
