Daemon X Machina is already one of the most anticipated exclusives coming to the Nintendo Switch, but Marvelous Entertainment is set on building the hype even more.

The studio just released a brand new trailer for the giant-mech action game, and it’s impressive to say the least. The trailer begins with a bit of story, though it’s entirely in Japanese, before moving on to showcase some of the intense action players can expect. The game is shaping up to be a beautifully chaotic affair, with plenty of bright colors, explosions, and neon laser blasts filling the screen in every battle.

The trailer shows off a number of features, from skill-trees to customization, and gives a good look at what we can expect to see when it comes to multiplayer. Check out the trailer below:

In Daemon X Machina, players take on the role of a pilot who is deeply involved in a war against corrupt AI. Using your personal mech, referred to as your Arsenal, you’ll take down fast-moving enemy mechs and giant robotic bosses as you fight to save humanity. Throughout the game, you’ll be able to customize your Arsenal with a variety of weapons and skills to help you take down the enemy. Not only can you build up your own Arsenal, you’ll be able to steal equipment mid-battle, making sure you’re always equipped to deal with any situation.

One of the more interesting features of the game is the customization, which extends far beyond skills and weapons. Players can also change the look of their pilot and mech through a variety of cosmetic options and colors, ensuring that no two players will have the same Arsenal. This feature will be especially noticeable in the game’s multiplayer, which allows up to four people, each with their own Switch and copy of the game, to connect together for some impressive-looking co-op action.

Marvelous Entertainment has also announced that competitive multiplayer will be coming to the game sometime in the future, though release window was announced. It’s a good sign that the company plans on supporting the game after its release, so let’s hope we hear more about it soon.
