Game 7. Two words Francisco inspires few basketball minds with terror. A simple post from the NBA-2K-Twitter account only added to the excitement: “Best two words in basketball: Game 7🔥.” And then? The reply section was bombed into pure chaos. Fans are split between Thunder and Nuggets-the take is as hot as a contested three at the buzzer.

First and foremost, Thunder believers have to be talked about. Many replies support OKC, and really, it ought to be pretty easy to see why. @Joeldaman_ just went all in for OKC with a view that the injury to Aaron Gordon gave them a big factor to change. @Prater11_ kept it short and sweet: OKC finishing this out. Then @JoshuaH45130619 dropped the big bomb of OKC having swept the Nuggets, with @donniemac2k retaliating with the curse of the Sonics, so who knows? The thunder buildup is all good, all especially because of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. @NAKAMAWZRDZ said they needed Shai to win just to piss everybody off. Savage.

Denver has its loyalities, too. @heyitsmrniceguy spoke up for the Nuggets, claiming they’ve gone through more as a team. And indeed, he was right; experience does count in Game 7. @AgentnemitzS is screaming, “Nuggets! It is Westbrooks year!” which… okay, Russ Stan’s are quite a breed of their own. @flannels2k went full speculation: Jokic is having a triple-double and hitting the game-winning basket. Bold. Very bold. And @Tpw1111651Tpw seconded, “Nuggets Westbrook gonna get his first ring.” That Nuggets love is strong, especially now with Jokic and Westbrook.

For those here just for the jokes, @OHGEENiCK outright said the best two words to describe 2K25 are: game ass. Ouch. @StephAntMVP went a step ahead and thanked God that the NBA 2K licensing ends this year so we can finally be free from whatever it is that they think is coming. Then @oosofargone amped up the chaos with, “I got mike wang needing to be fired cause hes fucking asian what does he know about basketball.” Yikes. Those replies took a left turn and never looked back.

But wildcards aside, never forget-drama. @MchalljrMichael is playing 4D chess right now, taking a stance that Denver wins, OKC panics, and trades for Giannis. That’s…a take. Then @UnbiasedWES dropped “We all know what’s happening” with a gif, leaving the rest of us to ponder just what we were supposed to know about. Classic Twitter.

Game 7 was championship basketball. Win or lose and regardless of whether one was rooting for Oklahoma City, Denver, or just here for the drama, one thing was guaranteed: a fight would ensue. According to the responses, the hype from the fans’ side rivalled that of the players. All that is left now is to see which team gets the privilege of making the claim with glory. Do make your bets, folks!
