"We are thrilled to say that we’ve entered the final stretch of production and are putting the finishing touches on The Last of Us: Part II as you read this," said Naughty Dog regarding the upcoming follow-up to their 2013 survival-horror game. "The end of development puts us one very large step closer to launch. We know all of you have been so patient over the last few years, so it’s been thrilling to see our game taking on its final shape and knowing that means it will be in your hands soon." Also on Tuesday, it was revealed that a demo for The Last of Us Part II will be at PAX East from February 27 to March 1, as those who attend the event will be able to play the upcoming Sony exclusive before it gets released in a few months. The PAX East demo will feature one hour of gameplay, where Ellie and Dina venture outside of Jackson to clear the infected in its surrounding areas.
