The European PEGI rating for Metro Redux on the Nintendo Switch was previously revealed. 4A Game’s Metro Redux is a two-pack title containing Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.

The official PEGI rating for Metro Redux on the Nintendo Switch is for ages 18 and older due to the language and violence contained within the game.

The general summary for the game is “The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside. You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised underground. Having never ventured beyond the city limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat.”

The Metro Redux bundle contains the past two Metro games in the series inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky.

The game takes place primarily in the Moscow Metro. The games have improved visuals at 60 FPS plus ten hours of additional bonus content.

The official Steam page states there are two play styles included: “Spartan and Survival – approach the campaign as a slow burn Survival Horror, or tackle it with the combat skills of a Spartan Ranger in these two unique modes.”

The Legendary Ranger mode is also included, which removes the HUD and UI plus reduces the resources for a more challenging game.

Multiple retailers in Russia have listed the official release date of Metro Redux on the Nintendo Switch. The date listed on their websites all state Friday, February 7, 2020.
