Destiny 2 is one wild, wild ride. And if you have ever tried to play through a few levels, you can know that things will sometime end up like you’re playing another version of that great, great game, Dark Souls II. We all know it, but we refuse to admit it to ourselves because we have something called… dignity. We just do not want to give these guys over at Bungie the satisfaction of letting them know the truth if you know what I mean.

Enter one of the most powerful bosses in all of bossdom, and things start to get a bit spicy for all of us who are trying our best to make it through this cold, dark world. There are not enough bonfires for that one, my cool friends. This bad boy is known as the Sundial, and as you might have guessed from the name, he has the power of the sun at his back. And as an army, you never want to fight while looking into the sun.

Anyway, here is everything you need to know if you are going to make it in this world with all of its new rules. It turns out there are only a couple of options, and you will have to make it through each of them.

All of this is part of a big old battle pass activity that was originally created by Bungie to get people the kind of gaming experience they truly crave. We are talking about something we know and love, something we need to see in more of these games.

But before all of this ended up coming out, the battle pass activity, which is also known as The Sundial to those in the know, was rotating between three Psion Flayer big-time bosses with some powerful abilities. Then suddenly things changed. For the better? Or did things just get worse? Well, to know these things, you have to have a little something we call prescience. It is the substance of life, and some gamers just do not have it.

Here’s the secret though. The new boss is going to really tear things up. Literally. This new boss is named Inotam, Oblivion’s Tribune. And he is here to judge you for all of the things you messed up in the past, bringing the smackdown in ways that none of us could have accurately predicted.

There will be a lot to watch here. But what we can safely say is you will need to avoid the bosses’ left flank if you want to succeed. There is something there for everyone.
