Fortnite has another wild crossover redo, and this time Krypto the Superdog is making into the game. The very dog of Superman is up for sale, and players are going absolutely nuts. The announcement came through a tweet saying, “Krypto is in Fortnite!” along with an official reveal link.
But, well, you know: thus, hype and chaos always come back in the comments section whenever anything new is added to Fortnite. Some players find it interesting, while user Karina Bella described it as a “sick add.” Others only care about issues that grip the game. Chaska, one entrant to the comment the annoyances, asked if Epic was going to fix the Superman cape glitch and why we can’t use the old Superman glider anymore. Classic Fortnite community. Never satisfied. Always in need of more.
And then came the barrage of bug reports and complaints. Multiple players are complaining that their level resets after finishing matches. One of these aggrieved players, RezRynoTTV, claims he is being sent back to level 1 every single time he claims XP, while another player, Greg Foster, alleges experiencing the same problem and also the Superman cape glitch. Would a Fortnite update be a real kind without technical issues?
And then one random side convo flared up. Some other fellow named ZHDVIDS was pointing out about this mysterious “suitcase of patience” and player ASHHXX12 begged the official Fortnite account to respond. Desperation is indeed an understatement.
Of course, some were less than pleased. Some players literally called the Superman skin trash, and one even accused the original poster of being a bad creator. Truly hard accusations. But that’s just the internet for you-an amalgam of love, hate, and everything in-between.
Meanwhile, a few were confused, assuming that the tweet was about cryptocurrency because of the name “Krypto.” User Zawg, in fact, chimed in to admit that he originally thought that was the case. So close, yet so far.
Somewhere along the line, a Portuguese-speaking player, named Junny Von Degurechaff, was loud about celebrating his very first win of the season and then threw in compliments for Morgana’s might, just for good measure.
So yeah, Krypto is staking his claim in Fortnite. Would that invite any of the players who abandoned it to come back? Maybe. Would it mark the end of all bugs? Most probably not. But one thing for certain is that Epic Games does know how to keep things going. Either you love it or you shoot it down, but you can’t ignore it.
I’m, therefore, going to ask your permission to look away as I go check if my levels are resetting, too.
