PQube's upcoming game <em>Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - Infinite Combate<\/em> will be released outside of Japan. The publisher made the official announcement at the end of last week, along with a special announcement trailer.\r\n\r\nThe game is an adaptation of a popular light novel and anime series, also known by its shortened title <em>DanMachi<\/em>, which is written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.\r\n\r\n[embed]https:\/\/youtu.be\/XoOTGFTeyRc[\/embed]\r\n\r\nAccording to the YouTube description: "<em>Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? - Infinite Combate<\/em> is set in a fantasy realm where gods have limited their divine powers in search of excitement and to experience the hardships of the lower world. To interact with humans, each deity has founded a Familia, which are groups that adventurers can join to socialize and support each other, before they set out into the dangerous labyrinth called Dungeon."\r\n\r\nPQube has announced the series will be released in Europe and North America. Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will get physical releases while it will only be released digitally on PC via Steam.\r\n\r\nThe game was released in Japan on November 28th. The Japanese release also came out with an extra bonus game, but it's unknown if it'll be released worldwide. Southeast Asian gamers will see a release on PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch on December 12th. This version will have English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. Gamers who are impatient to play the game can play the Southeast Asian version later this month.\r\n\r\nThe game follows the anime from the beginning. There is exclusive content from the series that will only be seen in the game. The game is primarily story-based with a main quest plus additional side quests.\r\n\r\nPlayers will also simultaneously experience Bell and Ais' stories in dedicated chapters.\r\n\r\nThe release date trailer doesn't show any gameplay. There are only beautiful images of which stories players may experience during gameplay. The official website states it has RPG-style combat. Players will have to level up and unlock new abilities with skill trees. Character playstyles are also customizable, and gamers can craft equipment.\r\n\r\nThe official dates for the North American and Europe release of <em>Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - Infinite Combate<\/em> is not yet known but is scheduled for Q1 2020.
