Recently, Sony released the official PlayStation Network downloads chart for 2019, categorized into the following: PlayStation VR games, PlayStation 4 games, DLC/expansions, and other Free-to-Play games. As usual the titles that top the respective categories are: Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Beat Saber. Interestingly, Sony’s Bend’s Days Gone made it in the top 10 PS4 games while even beating other PlayStation 4 exclusives. Statistically, based on the PSN tracking website Gamstat, the game has recorded a playtime by five million gamers. Days Gone was in fact the first game developed by Sony Bend since they last built 2011’s Uncharted: Golden Abyss and 2012’s Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, both unveiled on the PS Vita. That title had tons of reviews that anyone can check on their official website. Days Gone have successfully put Bend Studio on the list of all PlayStation gamers, after many years of silence and oblivion. However, it may not have delivered any meaningful innovations in terms of open-world gameplay mechanics, and it's an exciting play with spot-on graphics. And with a great cast of characters, easily paves the way for a sequel to the series.
