Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Palindrome Interactive have announced the official release date for Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars. The title will be released on PC and consoles.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a strategy game that combines turn-based vampire style combat and empire management. The battle rages on against humans and vampires. The game contains three unique vampire clans, including the Dracul, Moroia, and Nosfernus. The mythical world is filled with horrors and legends in a gothic series.

Players who pre-order the game on the Kalypso Store and the Microsoft Store via Xbox Game Preview can gain access to the closed beta, ongoing now.

In addition to the game release date announcement was the first developer featurette of a four-part series. These mini-movies give further insight into the story, a look at the unique gameplay, and some of the artwork.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars’ story mode contains twelve missions and four unique environments. Each one is told through the perspective of four vampire lords who have unique skills, goals, and aspirations. Their powers can be synergized with a clan to create a powerful combination of attacks.

Players will get the opportunity to command one of the three vampire clans, who are also unique with distinct abilities. The Dracul is bloodthirsty, while the Nosfernus are an ancient clan. The Moiria hold mystical powers with even more mysterious characters.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a strategy game, so players must make the right moves to win the battles. There are multiple modes to play, such as Kingdom Mode, where players command powerful armies plus the ability to recruit new units. Combat mode is filled with action, while Sandbox has an open world for players to explore, and Skirmish is a more difficult mode with tougher battles.

In the Game Preview version, players will get a taste of the empire management and turn-based battles. The full Dracul campaign is included in the preview. The remaining campaigns, Nosfernus and Moroia, will be added in the preview closer to the game’s launch.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars on PC via Steam is currently available with a 15% pre-order release discount until the game launches. The game launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on August 28.
