After ten weeks of qualifiers, the stage is set for the Fortnite World Cup finals in New York. This will be the first of a kind tournament and to give it the adrenaline rush it deserves, Epic Games splashed an unfathomable $30 million total prize pool.

But unfortunately, not every Fortnite star made it to the tournament. This is due to a variety of reasons during the qualifiers. Here are some of the Battle Royale pros who will be spectators at the Fortnite world competition.

1. 72hrs (Team Liquid)

First in the list is Team Liquid’s 72hrs who had established a great combination with Vivid, his teammate at Team Liquid. Unfortunately, the duo got hit by a queue of 4 minutes and in the long run, failed to qualify for the World Championship. 72hrs came first in Tier 2 Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 5 – North America in October last year. He also came second in the Tier 1 Winter Royale: North America Finals in December last year.

2. Cloakzy (FaZe Clan)

Another top star who will be missing in action at the Fortnite World Cup in New York is Cloakzy. The FaZe Clan captain and Tfue’s mate didn’t qualify as a result of the lawsuit filed by Tfue against the eSports team FaZe Clan. The duo didn’t compete for some weeks, and consequently, never qualified.

3. NICKMERCS (FaZe Clan)

You will agree with me that the NICKMERCKS and Aydan combination is legendary as the duo guaranteed intense battles. Unfortunately, NICKMERCS will also be missing out in the list of contestants at the Fortnite World Cup. He was brought in to fill for the Tfue, but the eSports player from Michigan USA failed to clinch a spot in the finals.

4. Symfuhny (NRG eSports)

A lot of people never thought that Symfuhny could miss a spot in the upcoming Fortnite tournament. The NRG eSports Fortnite pro/content creator is among the best players at the moment. Unfortunately, Symfuhny was never settled; his constant switching of partners cost him a ticket to the finals.

5. Daequan (TSM)

Daequan is among the most popular figures in Fortnite and is remembered for inventing the Double Pump. But it has not been an easy year for the 25-year-old who recently tweeted about some spine complications that have kept him out of action. Sadly, he will also be missing out on the finals, but perhaps he deserves a spot in the discussion panel.

These are not the only pros who will miss out from the Fortnite World Cup finals. The likes of Myth (TSM), Kamo (Ghost Gaming), Chap (Team Liquid), SypherPK (Luminosity Gaming), Svennoss and Ninja also failed to clinch a spot.
