The weekly event just updated for GTA Online by Rockstar Games. Players can earn double rewards for Terrorbyte Client Jobs and Mobile Operations Missions, as well as Acid Lab bonuses: FIB Priority File earns 2X GTA$, and Deadline mode is back in the game. But who cares, honestly? Not even a little.

The comments under a tweet by Rockstar express a general feeling of confusion and fatigue and are bordering on actual demands for some info on GTA 6. @Aryan_Manavi sums it up perfectly: “We’re in such an unbearable drought of info that even the schizophrenic speculations have died down.” Well, that is getting dark.

Some other comments add to this. @AngelDeadRose tweeted, “What are you doing here? You’re supposed to be dropping trailer 2,” while @_MaxNeon_ didn’t care to elaborate and simply repeated, “Where’s GTA 6 Trailer 2?” Very subtle. Very.. desperate.

There are fans who wonder if they should even bother playing GTA Online anymore. @8BitBobbyBrown bombed the replies with a whole questionnaire: “1. Do you play GTA online? 2. When did you get into it? 3. When last did you play it? 4. Did you play it on PS5/Xbox XlS?” Like, bro was conducting a whole survey in the replies.

Somebody completely furious, @jose23xxb, commented: “The game is so old it’s like💩💩💩💩💩🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 stop fucking ppl users.” Damn. They are tired.

While on the contrary, there are not so many people mad. @Vito24all actually seemed hyped: “Looks like it’s a fantastic week to cash in on those Double Rewards! Time to gear up and make some serious GTA$ while having fun. Let the chaos begin! 🎮💰” Glad one person is at least enjoying it.

@mburcal wrote a whole essay against Rockstar for “diluted content and silence” and is taking their business elsewhere. The hashtag? #SaveRockstarGames. Was it dramatic? Sure. But also… kind of fair?

Then there’s @CageMoody2233, who chose to seize this moment to make a SUPER precise GTA 6 request: “And please make all the buildings to enter in GTA six we don’t need any buildings that don’t let us in.” Like, sir, this is a Wendy’s.

So Rockstar keeps GTA Online on the rails; meanwhile, fans? They are in the process of saying good bye. They want GTA 6. They want it now. And nothing, and I really mean nothing, would satiate their thirst for GTA news from now till then.

At this point, even if Rockstar put a solid gold underlying bracelet in the game, people would still be like, “Cool, but where’s the trailer?” The pain is real.
