Polyphony Digital has released the latest Gran Turismo Sport update 1.47 that tags along with new tracks, new cars, a new scape and a few updates to campaign modes. There are several tweaks that Update 1.47 brings but below are the main highlights.

New Cars
The new GT Sport Update 1.47 adds four cars to the list so make sure to jump in the cockpit and try them out.
The first car is the Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG ’71, a full-sized luxury performance car. This particular model is best known for the power it packs; a cool 422 BHP.

Second, in the list is the Porsche Taycan Turbo S ’19 which is a modern car. The Taycan is not available in the US in real life but to get an experience of how it rides; you just need Update 1.47.

The other two cars that this update brings are Mazda Demio XD Touring ’15 and Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce ’15.

Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90’ Livery Bug Fix
The developer also fixed the display bug that players experienced with the Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90’ livery. Initially, the decals on the car’s rear bumper weren’t displaying correctly, but it should be fine now. Polyphony Digital says that this fix “…may affect previously uploaded cars that use ‘Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90’ livery data. It is possible that decals applied to or around the rear bumper will become distorted.”

New Track
The new Update 1.47 adds a new track, the “Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.” Located in Stavelot Belgium, this track is homes to Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, Spa 24 Hours and 1000 km Spa endurance competitions. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most challenging tracks in real life and the same has been replicated in Gran Turismo.

The fast, hilly and twisty nature requires keenness on the brakes and steering wheel, and you still need to be on the gas pedal to beat opponents. Even the professional drivers know that the hotspots are the areas around the uphill Eau Rouge corner where the track has a steep elevation.

And it’s not just about the challenging scape of the new track. Push yourself to the limits by racing on the wet version of the track.

New Events in Campaign Mode
Now, in the GT League, four more events have been added. These are “Group 4 Cup” Rounds 6 and 7, “Real Circuit Tours” Rounds 6 and 7, “Nostalgic 1979” Rounds 6 and 7, and lastly, “X2019 Competition Endurance Series” Rounds 3.
