The egging on message reads along the lines of “Before the grand birthday festivities at the camp, I want to chat with you privately. There were talks about the achievement of his distinguished self in Natlan and that classic awkwardness of Gorou when he realized that he might have been making the other person feel awkward. The replies bring just the vibe-their chaos becoming the highest form of praise. The fans are losing it in the comments-from simple well-wishes to chaotic keyboard smashing. The tweet was equally a gander at-the Genshin TikTok for Gorou content, obviously because miHoYo’s marketing department truly knows how to do cross-promotion. And that was pretty slick-think about how fans gorge on anything Gorou-related.
Some wholesome roleplays sprouted out in the comments, with @TopDogGorou0518 (which is an entirely Gorou-themed account) getting birthday wishes from fellow fans. @Siddhartha37124, an Arataki Itto main, of course, dropped “You my nigga tho Gorou,” which is going to do me in personally.
It goes without saying that, just another Genshin birthday, can’t do without the obligatory comments about “I share a birthday with this character!” @lezzi84837881 and @PenguFrozen both gave General of the Watatsumi Army’s birthday as their own-a nice coincidence or a terrible one, depending on how much attention they want on their actual birthday.
