Gaming enthusiasts are in for a treat as popular computer companies are scheduled to release ultra-fast and feature-packed laptops this October.
Acer and Asus will showcase the first gaming laptops with 300Hz and progressive refresh rates, which are designed to improve user experience.
Earlier this week, Asus brought some prototype of the 300Hz gaming laptop on display for the IFA 2019 event in Berlin, Germany.
Asus has developed them into several models of its Zephyrus and Strix machines and plans to roll out a 1080p 300Hz display in the Zephyrus S GX701 beginning next month.
Prototypes in Berlin exhibit blistering refresh rates at both 15-inch and 17-inch models. According to the company, increasing the refresh rates will provide more speed for the screen to capture five times more frames than of a typical gaming laptop.
Asus also noted that their upcoming gaming laptop will come with higher frequencies, which allow the display to respond quickly to fresh frames that are released by the graphics processing unit.
The company further added that the faster display combined with a functional graphics processing unit would provide silkier gameplay.
Specs of the GX701 has not yet been revealed, but it is more than likely that it has a 32GB memory, 2TB of storage, and has the same GPU with a Core i7-9750H CPU.
