Forza Motorsport has just tweeted, hyping up Mugello in Tuscany, Italy, describing the track as one with breathtaking curves amidst stunning scenery. But while the official account waxed poetic about Mugello’s beauty, the players’ minds appeared to have drifted elsewhere-in Monza’s return, the engine sounds, and how and why the track just refuses to click with them.

So, let’s start with Mugello. Some definitely love it-John Robertson (@Cru33) called it a “top 5 track,” and Duffman D (@Duffman_D) said it’s a top favorite of his despite wishing the full version would show up a little bit more in multiplayer rotations-but others just aren’t feeling it. Matthew Horsley (@matthorsley2461) pretty much just said, “Ngl I hate that track. I just can’t hook it up.” He prefers Watkins Glen, Brands Hatch, or Lime Rock Park. And honestly? Mood. Some tracks just don’t click for some people, and that’s completely fine.

The real deal wasn’t Mugello. “Monza needs a return,” Adam Lawlor (@ALRaptor97) bluntly stated, with DiabLass (@DiabLass_) agreeing and going on, “We need Monza and Imola 🙏.” Things got spicy when Luiz Eduardo (@LuizEdu53860128) accused someone in a reply of being a “spoiler about the Monza return,” making everyone wonder whether Turn 10 Studios is teasing something big. Can Monza be making an update comeback? Players sure hope so.

Then, on to the technical complaints. Glenn McAteer (@GmacaF1) had a shot at the sound balance: “You can barely hear the engines but if you go under a bridge or something, the Dolby Atmos is really loud.” David Harrison (@Democridiot83) ripped the Corvette engine notes on how “horrendous compared to Forza Motorsport 7,” and meanwhile, livinglikelarry (@Tokyomadman21) kept begging for more engine swaps and exhaust options—straight pipe exhaust, in particular—because really, who doesn’t want their car to sound like a beast?

That was when some asked for the random: St0zzers (@St0zzers) asked ‘Talladega’ to be randomly added to Forza Motorsport 8, with Dack (@DackAtak) wondering if fake tire and oil sponsors could be replaced with real ones like Michelin or Mobil 1. Because immersion matters, right?

Possibly, the best discussion had to be the one between Matthew Horsley and InkDark1981 (@Darkpet1981). Matthew insisted he wanted to race tracks he already knew, whereas InkDark argued that practicing new tracks is part of the fun. Matthew’s last reply? “Again, I’d rather just race the tracks I’m good at. That’s just more fun than trying to learn a track I don’t like.” Fair enough dude. I’m not down for the grind.

So what’s the verdict? Players love Forza Motorsport but they’ve got opinions. Some want the classics back; others want better sound design; then there are those who want to just chill in their comfort zones. With a possible Monza return brewing in rumors and the constant barrage of updates, clearly, Turn 10 has much on its plate. One thing the gaming community are sure about is bombarding Turn 10 with the “What-we-want” list. Honestly, for that very reason, the community thrives today. Now then, who’s down for the next update?
