Earlier, Fortnite had just unveiled a very new Creative, and players started going crazy-almost mostly because no one really knows what a Qui’la is. The official Fortnite tweet teased the mode with some simple instructions: “Find the Qui’la. Grab the Qui’la. Protect the Qui’la. Other team has the Qui’la? Take it from them!” Should be easy, right? Well, on second thoughts, half the replies ask: “What the heck is a Qui’la?”
Steamroller Animation’s mod is now live with an island code (5992-1806-0944), but the mystery of the Qui’la has now sprinted into full focus. Players such as Pierre, @moi_py, for example, straight out asks, “Wtf is a quila,” while another one, POP questioned: “What is quill?” Clearly, Epic Games have kept that to suggestion-or maybe they just forgot to tell it.
Hey, nothing about confusion is stopping the hype; Emor (@EmorMetaX) declared war: “Im going for the mfer that pick it up i love a challenge!! The Qui’la is mine.” Fair play. Others asked for collabs off the back of the announcement, with the first user (@mpmdtgames) calling for crossovers with Tekken, Nier, Predator, and Final Fantasy, while another (@Bleach4Fortnite) is pushing super-hard for Bleach to debut in Fortnite.
And there goes the usual chaos, demanding fixes, better shops, and a Death Note collab (shoutout to @DeathNotexFN for that crazy request). Then you have those like @kus_hurr who’s over it: “game is dead stop posting shit.” Harsh, and hey, not everyone is a fan.
Now about the Qui’la? Still no official clarification. Perhaps it’s a power-up, maybe a flag, or maybe an oddly named MacGuffin. In any case, players are jumping right in to brawl over whatever it may be. That is honestly some prime Fortnite energy.
So, if you seriously need some new activity in Creative, spice frontier: cosmic rush is waiting to welcome you. Just don’t ask what exactly you’re supposed to be grabbing-nobody knows, and that’s half the fun. Or frustration. Depends on who you ask.
Meanwhile, long-range demands are sprinkled throughout the replies-from Attack on Titan skins to Street Fighter comeback. The Fortnite community never misses an opportunity to ask for more, and this tweet was no exception. Will Epic listen? That’s a whole other story. But until then- Go find that Qui’la-whatever it is.
