Epic Games is about to drop a nostalgia bomb on Fortnite players, and this time around: it’s the 80s. Leaker SamLeakss just revealed that an iconic Knight Rider car, KITT, is coming to the battleroyale real soon. And yes, the internet collectively loses it.

Epic has yet to confirm this officially, but then again, when has SamLeakss ever been wrong? Dude’s track record is cleaner than a Victory Royale screen. The tweet is simple enough-a hype emoji and a link-but sometimes that’s all you need to spark a wildfire in the Fortnite community.

So for anyone who wasn’t glued to their television during the 80s-or was stuck up to watch reruns at 3 am like some of us, KITT was the super-intelligent, turbo-boosting Pontiac Firebird from Knight Rider, complete with a semi-sarcastic AI voice (which was part of the fun) and more gadgets than a Mythic Goldfish-D. Hasselhoff completely optional.

Isn’t it just crazy how Fortnite keeps doing big projects like this one, not breaking a sweat? We’ve already done Marvel, Star Wars, and Dragon Ball, and now…a talking car from a cult classic TV show? Nothing is off the table at this point, then. Airwolf next? A-Team Van? An actual time-traveling DeLorean mid-match? (Epic, if you’re reading this, do it.)

The post is really cold concerning replies for the original tweet. Fortnite leaks typically have fans bellowing in caps or arguing whether this collaboration is “OG enough.” Perhaps what everyone is busy doing is just visualizing the general idea of doing donuts around Tilted Towers in KITT. Or maybe there’s that possibility that the community has finally run out of ways to be shocked. Nah, who are we kidding? The second this thing gets enlisted into the Item Shop, Twitter’s gonna explode like a Supply Drop landing on your head.

Nothing yet confirmed: KITT will be a drivable vehicle (we hope), a skin (how?), or a dope glider giving engine sounds. Epic better give us lobby music using that red scanner light effect along with the iconic synth theme jam. Instant buy. Bank account = drained.

One can say for sure that Fortnite’s crossover machine is not going to slow down anytime soon. And to be specific? We are totally here for it. Pardon me as I consume and vomit Knight Rider clips for a Michael Knight skin with rolled sleeves.
