Ok, get ready for the storm, Fortnite fans, Stage 4 of the most recent live event is now in full swing-making all the more buzz. A flourish announcement was made in the Twitter feed of @Guille_GAG; the community is vibrating, although it is oddly silent in the replies (more on that later).

What is going with Stage 4? Well, darn it, Epic has cranked these live events almost by clockwork one crazier than the other. If you have been keeping an ear to the ground, there must be another definition for a live event that’s happening-not just regular in-game updates; these are mad, full-on events affected by world-changing consequences. Remember that time the island flip upside down? You got it.

For the record, if Stage 4 stays true to past performances, we are in for some absolute crazy surprises. All it said was: Fire, along with a Link to Action. Something is sometimes all you need. The weird part is the replies, which, for whatever reason, are just so strange.

Usually, for Fortnite events, it’s a screaming fan in all caps sanity riot of theories about what comes next or just spamming clown emojis. Maybe everyone is busy playing? Or this event was clearly a level of mind-bending that they left their keyboard, perhaps mid-sentence?

For those unaware, Fortnite live events are basically Super Bowl for the gaming world- a big draw to come and if you happen to miss it, you are stuck trying to watch some shoddy unpacking Twitch clips from whichever poor soul bothered to record it LIVE.

The live events are somehow related to the game lore-to set up for the next season or permanently change the map. So if you aren’t logging in right now, what the hell are you doing? Go. Right now. Before you start regretting it.

And don’t stress, if late. Some events might be revisited a couple of times, or at least a cinematic recap will be up. But c’mon, there’s nothing as good as live chaos with millions of other players at the same time losing their minds.

So now Stage 4 is live, flame emoji notwithstanding (never a coincidence), and the void in replies is either creepy or implies everyone has a front-row ticket to whatever lunacy Epic just threw at them. Either way, we’ll keep our ear to the ground for any updates, leaks, and, of course, the incaluably loud reaction of every fan the moment dust settles.

In the meantime, comment down unless you saw the event—what’s happening? Is the map burning? Are there mechs? Did Jonesy finally get a vacation? The people need answers.

Until then, keep your head on a swivel because in Fortnite, anything can happen and usually does.
