These newest Fortnite emotes are honestly driving the crazies among the folks, and rightly so! That recent collab has some of the most formidable animated characters going full-on recreation of the now grandiose King of the Hill intro and, honestly? Pure gold.
The ShiinaBR tweet featuring these emotes gave off all kinds of reactions from hype to tear-inducing nostalgia. And the very King of the Hill emote has been stealing some of the limelight; it is being described as “peak nostalgia” and “one of the best emotes in the game.” Actually, the people describing it as such are not even lying. Having Travis Scott, Naruto, Peter Griffin, and Spider-Man kicking it in that alleyway as Hank Hill and the gang is something nobody knew they needed- until now.
Of course, King of-the-Hill is giving out plenty of love to itself, but the rest of the collab carries the torch for other iconic shows, with some players begging for more: “Yo, if we getting a colab with Bob’s burgers, is there a chance we could also get one with Archer?” expresses BagLad. Honestly? It really isn’t such a bad idea.
But your haters are already in; “UGLY,” declared one, Beccabelova, wondering if anyone ever asked for these skins. At the very least, could we be serious here? Since when did Fortnite really require anybody’s blessing before dropping the weirdest and funniest of crossovers? That chaos is basically what makes it fun!
Now, others are already pondering about how they’re to utilize these emotes in-game; willed_on joked that he “can’t wait to crack a cold one open with the boys in the lobby,” with another, arvichu declaring, “King of the Hill emote… coming out the moment, without hesitation, I’m buying it.”
And so the real debate begins; which emote is the best? Of course, some will swear by the King of the Hill intro while others will defend Alley Hangout as one of the best emotes in the game. And I’ve seen others vehemently argue that Cleveland’s emote should have played the Cleveland Show theme – fair point, if you ask me.
Now, everyone is pressing with the big question: does the alley emote play the full theme? If yes, well, we’re definitely hearing that down. No questions asked.
In effect, this really goes on to prove that Fortnite is able to turn together an alchemy of nostalgia, humor, and pure absurdity that players keep begging for. Either you love it or hate it; one thing for sure: it has all gotten talking.
Are you still not up to speed with the entire collaboration? Then, what are you actually doing? Go to the link mentioned in ShiinaBR’s tweet and brace yourself to relive absolute animated moments, Fortnite-style.
Then maybe, with luck, that Archer collaboration may just be next. A guy can dream.
