Fortnite players, imagine the new update landing tomorrow; it’s seriously thick. This could be one of the most significant drops Epic Games has ever released. The patch kicks in at 4 A.M. ET, and if the leaks and announcements are any indication, it’s gonna be crazy. Squid Game collabs, Bruno Mars storming Festival Season, trying new mode Blitz Royale, and a Battle Bus SUV. Is that a Battle Bus SUV I am talking about?

Moving on… Squid Games. The Netflix hit show is officially coming into Fortnite, and it has everyone losing their minds. There will be a Squid Game-themed map for Fortnite Reload and presumably cosmetics so that players can run around looking like contestants in this deadly competition. There hasn’t been a word about Red Light, Green Light yet, but honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Then, there’s Bruno Mars. The Festival Season will be getting a massive uplift with the popstar, but a few… aren’t so thrilled. One reply summarily said, “It should have been deadmau5, not Bruno Mars.” Ouch. Another said that Bruno already had a Festival Pass, so why give him another one? Either way, though, whether you like him or not, Bruno’s got the vibes, and the Festival mains will devour it.

The new game mode coming in is said to be Blitz Royale, fast and chaotic probably a little bit broken (at least to start). There’ll be Collaboration Weeks for it, which means even more crossover content. Maybe we’ll get that One Punch Man collab someones been begging in the replies for.

And speaking of collabs—old ones are getting updated for a potential Shop return. That means Street Fighter, Naruto, and other fan favorites might make a comeback. Some skeptics say, ‘Street fighter is nonexistent, just like Naruto. 😔’ Brutal.

Superman cosmetics are also leaking, in addition to new Mythics, Super Styles for the Battle Pass, and even a Son Heung-Min ICON Series skin. Yep, that soccer star is gonna be dripped up in Fortnite style.

Lego Fortnite is not being left out either. Expeditions Mode is coming, although some would raise an eyebrow at Epic for giving us new content while bugs still persist. “Adding another LEGO MODE yet refuses to fix pretty much so many bugs,” one reply went. Fair point.

And then there is the Battle Bus SUV. Uh-huh, no, not the one from Rocket League- it is a whole other thing. Why? Who knows. But it’s happening.

The replies seem to be this mixture of hype, skepticism, and downright confusion. Some players hyped (“stacked update holy shit”), some hate on Bruno Mars. Some actually ask for Saitama (One Punch Man fans just keep losing).

In short: Tomorrow’s going to be another massive update. Because of Squid Game, Bruno Mars, or just plain chaotic fun with Blitz Royale—there’s something for all of us. Or at least something to grumble about on Twitter.
