Alright, Fortnite everyone, hear me out for free stuff—everybody loves free stuff. This weekend, Epic Games are partnering with Kings League to present Twitch Drops; basically, all you have to do is watch some football (or soccer, depending on where you’re from).

Here’s something to watch for: Watch the Kings League World Cup Clubs semifinals and finals, June 13-14, 2025, and you’ll get two exclusive sprays: “Star of the Game” and “Crowned Ball.” Now sprays go for being meh with a dash of flashy, but hey, they’re free. Link your Twitch and Epic Games accounts; watch a couple of hours, maybe grab some popcorn, or take a nap, and then claim these rewards from the Twitch Drops Inventory. Epic says that it might take up to 14 days before these sprays show up in your Fortnite locker, so don’t panic if they don’t pop right up.

Well, some players have expressed displeasure about the rewards being sprays alone for God’s sake. One player outrightly says: “That is so bad. Fortnite has really gone downhill,” while another jokes, “The Fortnite kiddos love free stuff.” And, honestly? Fair. However, there are more things in the collab: there is a fan-voted emote that’s going to be based on a Kings League goal celebration. So, hold on with the pitchforks for now, will you?

Speaking of reactions, the comments are all over the place, some hyped (“Love the free stuff”), some confused (“What happened to twitch drops?”) and some are just here for pure entertainment (“Funny I was just thinking to myself epic should provide us with a way to show other players, particularly in creative, to show them how big of a loser you are. This spray could do that.”). Classic.

If you’re looking to see-there, the official streams will be on the Kings League Twitch channel. And to those that always ask, “What time they start???,” well, the tweet didn’t specify what time, so maybe keep an eye on their socials for updates.

Oh, and the other thing on your mind: No, this is not the resurrection of Street Fighter skins (sorry, yar1yaya), and no, we still don’t know when that Toga is coming back (sorry, MangaBoy2169). This is strictly a Kings League thing.

Set those reminders, pull out your controllers, and let that baby stream in the background as a half-watched affair. Free sprays may not be ground-breaking, but they’re going to be a hell of a lot of fun in Creative mode. Who knows? A really good emote could actually be worth the wait.

Don’t expect masses of viewers to tune in, though. “Almost no one will watch,” was one comment that really made a point. Ouch. But those who will, I salute you for enjoying your digital trophies.

TL;DR: Watch Kings League on Twitch this weekend, grab some free Fortnite sprays, possibly an emote later. That’s all. That’s all the news. Now go touch grass or something.
