The item store just opened on Friday, while Mandalorian Warrior goes back in rotation, and, well, let’s just say the community is, uh, divided in their views. There are some that are filled with excitement and others with anger; and then you have those that sit on the sidelines, just watching the circus unfold. Classic Fortnite Twitter.
The Mando Warrior is the crown jewel of the item shop. Have you forgotten all the pandemonium it unleashed during the Star Wars collab? Epic also managed to refurnish the Kicks tab (because, uh, this is indeed a thing in the virtual world) with the addition of the Battle Ready bundle containing four items. Nothing too crazy, but you are welcome for the heads-up.
Now it is about to get juicy. The replies? Just splendid. Some players straight up roast the shop with: “horrible for a week straight” (shoutout to @yoburr826). Others begin begging for specific skins to return, like @dancerswhirl just wants the Miku skin back. Mood. Then, of course, some like @shortforharper show that chaotic energy: “WE WANT… uh… Kratos? nah nah, street fighter… uhh DMC… Nintendo Switch 2 WE WANT uhhh, one piece.” Bruh, pick a struggle.
Then came the whole dead-game debate because, of course, there is one. @yaboytttttt dropped the hot take; @trujillo38812 doubled down: “Damn this game fucking sucks now they suck at adding shit.” Harsh. But also, kinda fair? It’s been recycling a lot lately, and players are getting impatient. Like @MK2RICH777, still waiting for a T800 skin: “They bring back items from 2-3 days ago but nothing new.” Oof.
However, not everyone is mad. @Kuba85237306 called Mandalorian the best skin of this season. @CreatesChance agreed with “Mando carrying!” So, it’s not all doom and gloom. Just mostly.
And then, chaos: interesting takes of @DR_FROGMILK. From “Fortnite let us own slaves” to “You ain’t got feet cryptofaggotnigger,” this dude’s a mess. We’re not even going to touch on that.
Meanwhile, @fl4reeZ asks: “WHEN IS THE MADISON BEER LOCKER BUNDLE RELEASING??” Bro, we don’t know, but we feel your pain.
Another day, another argument spawned by Fortnite shop update. Some are loving it, some are hating it, some just wanna watch the world burn. Will Epic come through with a fresh drop anytime soon? God knows. ‘Till then, at least Mando is rocking for those who find it entertaining. Or not, go ask somebody.
Oh, and those of you who have been waiting for Mando to drop…today is your day. For the rest of us…well, there’s always tomorrow. Maybe. Probably not. But hey-hopes can be real.
