Fortnite was back on Apple’s App Store for iOS and iPad, whereas for the rest of Europe, it hit the Epic Games Store and AltStore. This was the announcement from Epic about the glorious return of Battle Royale to mobile after a long legal battle with Apple. But while some dance in praise, there have been those who wonder-so others-are not allowed?

The comeback for a mere two-line tweet from Epic Games couldn’t have been hyped any more without leaving behind links for all eager players to download it ASAP. On the flip side, the reply section tells quite a different story. From Canada, the UK, South Asia, and well beyond those regions, fans poured into the comment section with one massive question: And what about us?

Paramedic Papa wasn’t mincing words, going straight for “No Canada’s?” Meanwhile, Goat threw in his two cents: “How about UK next… Fornite we all are missing it out on mobile.” And let’s not forget Linus Subba, who must’ve hit them with the real blunt: “why it’s not available for South Asian country?” Ouch. Demand: global. The rollout? Now, that is another conversation.

There were technical issues too. Darren Steed alleges lagginess on his iPhone 13, while Diego Saucedo talks about mouse/keyboard troubles on his iPad. Others like MomsPlayingNintendoAgain were just laughing about how absurd it was that Fortnite could take up half of their phone’s storage. Same here, really.

Meanwhile, there were people not complaining. Happy to be back in-game, Carlos Martínez was celebrating his first Victory Royale ever with his sister. And the OGFortnite_ began begging for the return of the OG movement mechanics. Classics.

That all-essential return to iOS for Fortnite larger than life, however, was stunted by the infamous App Store ban right from the start of the entire legal battle between Epic and Apple. But as U.S. and EU players are able to bounce back into the game, everyone else waits. So many regions sitting empty…is a tad muted hype?

Epic will surely have an answer to everything. Why the selective rollout? When will other nations start in? And even more pertinent, will the game run smooth this time? Time will tell. Meanwhile, should you find yourself in the States or the EU, grab that phone and start dropping in. Everyone else? Keep spamming those reply comments until Epic finally notices.
