With fresh cosmetic drops into Fortnite, the Iron Man skin at 800 V-Bucks, the Boardwalk Warriors set, and the fresh locker bundle had people going crazy. ShiinaBR made the announcement, which was met with excitement; the update also stirred up some original and passionate views within the community.
Well, I think maybe the most talked-about thing would have to be the new Iron Man skin. A mere 800 V-Bucks for this custom take on Tony Stark’s legendary armor! It has an emote, which some gamers found hilarious. “Not the iron man with a built in emote 😂😂,” one player chimed in, while others said it was a steal for the looks and emotes at such a price. But there were some who just did not want to get on board with it: “Recycled trash,” one critic said, and you can see that you won’t make everyone happy with Fortnite.
Now, here comes the return of the Boardwalk Warriors set. The fan-favorite line of cosmetics themed around beachside brawlers had some drawing excitement. “Boardwalk Warriors are back? Let’s gooo! 🏖️,” rejoiced a fan. In contrast, a few showed more concern over what this update did not include: “And yet they still didn’t release the cowboy raccoon skin,” grumbled one, citing a cosmetic that had long been wished for but has yet to see the light of day.
As the locker bundle was discussed with some dismay, “Who’s locker bundle??” queried one puzzled player; everyone else was simply happy to have something new to discuss. “Finally some good skins,” chimed in another, ever so grateful.
Of course, no Fortnite update would truly pass without some mentions of their treasured crossovers. “Street Fighter when? 😏” One player tempted, while another was continuing his daily routine, “Day 6 of asking for Hawkgirl in Fortnite.” And yes, those Witcher fans can’t be ignored either—”Do you know when Ciri and Yennefer will be coming back?” a hopeful player asked while collectively dreaming of a Geralt team-up.
Some were just happy using the creator code and supporting ShiinaBR: “Using your code! Thanks for the heads up,” one player shared gratefully.
So yeah, another day, another Fortnite update with skins some love, some hate, and some just use to demand their favorite characters. Will Epic ever bring out that cowboy raccoon? Will Hawkgirl finally get her Fortnite debut? For now, on the bright side at least, we have new Iron Man skins to play dress-up with.
Oh, and if you want to get your hands on some of the new stuff, don’t forget about ShiinaBR’s creator code to at least give out some support. Just saying.
