Fortnite players: start prepping to rock the stage, or at least the illusion! Because Epic Games have just released a fresh Bruno Mars-inspired outfit called the “Die With A Smile Bruno” set. And, yes, it is as much Royal Flush glitz-the boy behind “24K Magic.”

Through the Fortnite Music Pass, your character can come into the party with all the swagger Bruno has to offer: gold chains, jackets full of attitude, and unquestionable cool. Your chance to walk into Battle Royale looking like a Grammy-winning artist has just been goal-shattered.

Of course, the Fortnite community had opinions. Some people seemed thrilled upon it: @Soulbound_TV joked, “This skin looks like it comes with its own Grammy🏆.” While others were already demanding things-things like @DryRoach69’s “Now just need a Tyler creator skin,” and @MichaelTheG1999 inquiring, “So when y’all gonna be adding Chalino Sanchez?” (Epic, please take note.)

Those somewhat on the fence about the gig include @puzhiyi—”no thank u,” and @MelissandeXO, who said, “Die with a smile emote? Yes thanks, why not lyrics tho. Never gonna pay for ts.” Fair enough.

Then you had… uh, the more creative interpretations. For example, @stuff_animated blessed the timeline with the classic meme: “Does Bruno Mars is gay?” Meanwhile, @firebirdthing aligned the skin with “Salim from Slumdog Millionaire,” which… honestly… works?

And, of course, no Fortnite update would ever be complete without fix requests. @clark_kent34450: “Fix this cuz I don’t like the new creative where it makes everything disappear if you’re in one area.” @k0ntroversial, meanwhile, has proudly been holding down a 588-day battle for a rotating minimap.

So how do you get Bruno drip? Just get the Music Pass, which also unlocks other goodies from the festival. This is another ongoing attempt from Fortnite to channel the gaming-meets-music vibe set by its previous collabs with Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and more.

Will this be the skin that finally wins you every match? Probably not. But will you look good losing? Hell yes.

Now, if you will excuse us, we’re going off to practice emotes in front of the mirror. Just in case.
