Solos mode is on rotation once again to sweeten lonely Fortnite players who carry, toss their squad, or sometimes find their single wandering avatar stranded. And Epic is not just throwing it for a weekend but giving them the whole month until April 15 for players interested in lone wolf action to keep the mode during the week.
Squad- Who needs one? This is the kind of energy right now. The official tweet from Fortnite was very short and precise, just like playing Solos. So no one is to be found at fault, and nor can the player beg for a revival. It is all battle royale with no frills. Time? Perfect one.
Many people dive into the new season, while some want to come down and grab a Mythic and then go full Rambo without having to worry about whether their random fill teammate will land completely on the opposite side of the map. This is where the real test happens: Solos, with no distractions or excuses.
But the real question is… how long? Limited-time tease? Or is Epic testing its waters before making it permanent again? So, players that have specifically requested for Solos to return are probably going to sound off when the memory of a Solos disconnects and then pops back up like some glitch in the Matrix. Maybe it’s Epic saying, yeah, yeah, we hear you.
Oh, and the tweet did not come with some crazy trailer or deep dives into changes (if there even are any), but honestly? No one needs that. Solos just is. Jump in. Fight. Survive. And maybe do some dancing over the loot pile of the last player. Simple. Classic. Perfect.
So if you have been stuck in squads getting third-partied while your teammates are off doing who-knows-what, now’s your chance to rogue it. Just remember-the L can’t be helped in Solos when you take it.
Now go get that Victory Royale. Or die trying. Again. And again. Play it before it disappears again. Battle Royale mode is evolving, and players are keen on the changes.
