Winter has proven to be a slick season for gamers, and Blitz Royale will, through the Spirit Avatar, scream all the way down into an eerie fight. Water, Earth, Fire, and Air thus go completely powered for Future Weekend #2: Avatar State Unleashed. This means that all players entering the game this weekend will be able to contest supercharged elemental abilities-zestier chaos, and way more fun.
The exalted news emerged straight from the official Fortnite Twitter. Expectedly, gamers remain divided. Some gave a lot of hype, such as user @frogmacs, who called them “fire” (perhaps a pun?), and then there are others… let’s just say, not appreciative. @PopMetaXX called it “so bad,” triggering a mini-debate in the replies that questioned whether Epic Games were outright scamming players or were earnestly endeavoring to keep the gameplay fresh. Just classic Twitter drama.
Alright, now for the good stuff. @dintsfi is already out there learning to master all four elements, and that’s pretty much me too. Also, @CamilaPach11919 tagged all their squadmates in hopes of hyping the firebending plays. That works for @moonlig68236809 too- somehow diverted into questions about K-pop content in Fortnite. Hey, why not? If we’re gonna bend elements, we should toss in some dance emotes as well.
But not every gamer is that interested in the current state of the game. @IbrahimLol625 is begging for a return of building, saying, “Bubble fights are getting tiring after one single game”; Fair. And @lioncleggy just wants the old guns back. That hit home.
Now getting back to the main course: Fortnite’s follow-up tweet says these elemental powers are gonna recharge at twice their speed this weekend. So after you think spammin’ fireballs is a blast-now just wait. Surely, the Atari Gallileis will be fully charged for utter chaos.
The verdict? For all the love and hate it gets, this weekend sees the Blitz Royale of Fortnite going all out for the Avatar State. It will definitely be a mad ride irrespective of your being there for the total domination of all four elements or for watching the world burn… quite literally, in case you are a Firebender.
At least for now, it’s one less K-pop collab. Or maybe… Nah. Probably not. Maybe. Who the hell knows anymore with Fortnite.
