Fortnite players, start your engines, as may be the Ferrari skins everyone has been clamoring for could be in the Item Shop once again. Having become the center of hype, the Ferrari skins and other cosmetics are expected to make their return in the next update.
The original Ferrari bundle, back in its day in the Item Shop, was made up of skins inspired by the Italian sports cars, racing suits of full flair, and slick designs. Those collectors who missed out on snagging the bundle the first time round and are just itching to flaunt it are now getting their second chance. So now, when exactly does this update drop?
Judging from all the responses, the fans seem divided. Some are gushing with excitement, such as @Skyler140513999, who stated they will be purchasing these skins once again for their daughter’s account. Others, like @GokuScrubbb, are waiting for other collaborations to return and concerned, “When is my goat coming back?” (We feel you, g.) The drama unfolds with @MFTFGames getting roasted for calling Chapter 2 skins “OG.” Bruh.
But just like in any Fortnite instance—it isn’t just the fans talking about the Ferrari skins. Talks of other collabs missing from the Item Shop are everywhere in the comments, be it Ash Williams, Sarah Connor, or Adidas skins, you name it. @VH1996VH was sarcastically asking if those things were ever legit or if Epic Games just played off. While on the other hand, @Lipalesa1212 is begging hard for Sarah Connor like their life depended on it.
Then from nowhere, @PixelatedDreamz fired back, withstanding haters, yelling from the rooftops, “Being an OG skin collector is my job. $54.98/hr.” Legend.
As for the update? Set to come out one day, leaked info claims it is going to be quite so soon, really backing the suspected arrival of the Ferrari 14s (as pointed out by @mikejaydj). Could a racing-themed event be in full swing? Not likely. Fortnite plays its collaboratives to the max, so we might as well pray for some brand-new challenges or even an LTM.
So while we wait, let’s speculate, and hopefully, we can start saving some V-Bucks. Because looking back allows us to assure that the skins do not stay long. And after these skins disappear? Well, another “When will they return??” tweet storm is to follow.
One thing leads to another—a quick way to encapsulate how wild and unpredictable Fortnite’s Item Store can be. Whether it is cars, chaos, or memes, seatbelt time.
