Fallout 76 has been re-hauled in a lot of major ways thanks to the Wastelanders update. It has brought forth new content and most importantly, NPCs.

The game now plays a lot different and that has been a welcomed change for the Fallout community. It doesn’t look like Bethesda is looking to stop bringing changes either, as they just put out another update for Wastelanders.

It’s currently live for all major platforms and is bringing with it a lot of improvements. One of the most notable is the ability to customize allies you make in this game. Whatever outfits players have in their collection, they can now be shared with their companions.

That opens up the customization options quite a bit and certainly makes the allies more pleasing to look at. You can now give all of your allies the same outfit and make them easier to identify as you’re exploring the vast West Virginia lands.

Allies have been an important improvement since the Wastelanders update released a couple of weeks ago. They give this game a lot more personality. You can interact with them, accept missions, and even receive handsome rewards.

Now that you can customize their outfits, they should provide even better interactions. To switch up their attire, all you have to do is click on the customize menu when you come across them. From there, the wardrobe selection is pretty much up to you.

It’s important to note that these clothing customizations are strictly cosmetic. They won’t add any skill attributes to your allies. Still, it’s a pretty cool update all things considered.

Update 19 is including a lot of other things as well. For instance, the Fasnacht Parade is returning for a week. It lets you complete a series of tasks for the chance to earn a festive mask.

If you’re up for a treasure adventure, then you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll be able to hunt down Mole Miners around Ash Heap and collect a lot of great loot. It’s a limited-time event that starts May 21.

Finally, this update will let players customize their backpacks with unique skins. Switching them out is easy and you can even customize the small backpacks.

Overall, Update 19 seems like it’s bringing a lot of new and exciting things. The Wastelanders update just keeps getting better and better. Hopefully, Bethesda keeps the new content rolling along as to give players novel experiences well into 2020.
