Fall Guys has injected some Disney Villains vibes into the in-game store with some newfound ferocity. The whole player base is chaotic indeed. You now can buy costumes of Maleficent, Hades, and Cruella de Vil. Some, however, cannot wait for it, while others seem outwardly displeased at the Disney collaborations.
On Twitter, the official Fall Guys account dropped a sinister tease: “Muahahahahaha…” with a store link. One of those laughs says it all—they KNOW this is gonna stir the pot. A lot of people love the new looks; @Dereck20792977 just declared, “Hades is Fire,” whereas many others like @ThornyRose🌹🇨🇦 are excited to represent their favorite villain: “I’m gonna be buying maleficent because she’s my favorite Disney villain and I don’t care about everybody complaining about Disney.”
This Disney-induced takeover had many people in uproar. In an argument against the devs, @CheekyOfTheWind said: “What’s with all the Disney sht? Surely you’re having to pay them for using their character designs… You know they fund genocide, right?” Oof. That escalated very quickly. Meanwhile, others such as @Von_krakenfart would simply like some variety: “Yay more Disney rubbish, add snow white or more cat skins.”
Then there’s the group that’s just… tired. @PainfulGuy10 pointed out the irony of that evil laugh in the tweet: “they know we are tired of disney collabs.” @Bigdog_1318 took it a step further, demanding something actually new to play rather than silly cosmetics: “Can you give us actual new content for once that’s not skins/costumes? The game has been stale for 3 years!”
Fixing all technical hiccups is just another point of contention. @Shana_Girl2xX raged, “Yesterday I changed my internet connection, the game is having DISCONNECTION problems!! I can’t play because I keep getting disconnected and my internet is fast!! FIX IT 🫤” @MewMyuu_ chimed in with more on disconnect issues on PS5.

The Disney collabs will keep on popping forever and ever; however, @DaniGamez18 dropped an insider-ish tidbit: “Disney acquired 10% of epic games last year, so all of their titles just kinda have free access to every Disney ip now, hence the collab spam.” So yeah, brace yourselves for more Mickey-adjacent content.
Still, some players hold out for different crossovers. @vanillaetears begged, “Can we stop with Disney collabs now? More anime pls and final fantasy 7!” while @ZingZillion asked the real question: “Will the Sonic skins ever return? 😭”
At the end of the day, Fall Guys keeps releasing costumes, and the player reactions keep coming-some with joy, some with anger, and some demanding specifically for cat skins.
