Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s first substantial content update won’t be available for a while, but developer Techland is still releasing updates at a reasonable rate. For instance, the game now features a mode that was a fan favorite.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human will feature Hyper Mode before August 1, according to a recent announcement from Techland.

Hyper Mode was temporarily offered at the start of the year. For those who are unaware, the purpose of this setting is to give the zombies heightened ragdoll physics so that they will be sent into the air when you strike them with firearms, kicks, explosives, or anything else.

Your power to catapult adversaries into the air is available in this mode. With such power, the infected are reduced to nothing more than rag dolls for your unrestrained amusement and pleasure.

The first significant expansion for Dying Light 2 Stay Human will also arrive in September. The expansion’s setting and gameplay specifics have recently come to light thanks to a leak.

In a previous post, Techland has some new limited-time Booster Events planned for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which was recently given New Game Plus status. You gain twice as much Combat and Parkour XP during the current Double XP promotion, which is active until May 3.

The trove of Crystals will be accessible from May 5 to May 9 and will offer Dark Hollows superior Crystal Cores. The Blue Moon, which offers improved chemical tolerance and protection against nocturnal infections, is active from May 12 to May 16.

Finally, from May 19 to May 23, Hyper Mode will be available, allowing for the instantaneous catapulting of adversaries into the air. Enemies fly in amusing ways when you hit them with firearms, drop kicks, or grapples.

There is, even more, to look forward to because another Set of Challenges is scheduled to go live in May, according to the roadmap provided in January. According to current plans, the first story expansion will debut in June.
