We got our fingers crossed to see if the stream offered a chance to get that rare collector’s item because the heat is already rising in competition.
A tweet from NVIDIA’s official GeForce account showed off the deck in all its glory: in so much of that iconic DOOM: The Dark Ages twenties style—with demonic imagery, gothic lettering, and that hellish trademark vibe. The caption teased fans to go down to “HELL” with the board. Instant response: hundreds flooded the replies spamming the hashtag #GeForceSummer hoping to win. Some joked about adding it to their skate collection, while others just flat-out told how much they want this deck.
The skateboard is really the last order of business, though. Consider all the surprises #GeForceSummer might have in store for us: game announcements, hardware reveals, or maybe even just one or two bits of news about DOOM. Since DOOM: The Dark Ages continues to be very much a mystery, this could be that bigger hint. Or it could just be seriously cool show merchandise. Either way, the scene has been buzzing.
