The TWID (This Week In Destiny) event held its share during the week, and one is up all over the hearts of all Guardians in big news. The Edge of Fate will be revealed on May 6. Not much is revealed yet about it, but it’s enough to set the players into wild theory mode-new dungeon? Raid? Some sort of time-bending nightmare activity? Who knows, but the hype train is definitely rolling.

Another one going around for @BNGServerStatus’s mutation? Could there be server upgrades coming soon? New ways of tracking downtime? Or just fancy digital paint? Wouldn’t kill us–it’s primarily Bungie branding now.

As always, keeping it up: bug fixes, a bit of tuning, some this-and-that. But really, the big meat is that May 6 date.

So go ahead and mark it on your calendars, because if they are daring to drop hints so early, it must be one hell of an event. Or at least a medium one, hopefully not just another recycled public event.

And it’s just weird that so far, no one has responded to that tweet. Normally, the Destiny community dives into announcements like Cabal into a supply drop. Maybe they’re all too busy farming Lost Sectors or arguing over whether or not Titans should be allowed capes (they shouldn’t).

May 6 is definitely going to be some kind of day. It’ll either rock or flop, and Destiny players will have opinions about it. One thing we all can agree on is those opinions will be loud, passionate, and probably misspelled on Reddit with a lot of caps.

Until then, Ghosts charged, and fashion in check. Bungie is watching. And so are your fireteam members, judging your mismatched shaders.
